This evening, we were told by a woman who we thought was one of the most homophobic people on the block that we should have children.

And. As a capper to the entire evening. My neighbor down the street. Who cracks me UP. He's from Guayna and is SO into Halloween. He LOVED my tiara and talked for 10 whole minutes about how GREAT halloween is and how they have NOTHING LIKE THIS IN AFRICA. AND. We love him because he has this crazy photographic mural of the NYC skyline covering one whole wall of his living room. Anyway. When I took Callie out for her walk tonight, my neighbor opened his door and called out...

Callie thought he was talking to her.
