2003-06-27 - 11:08 a.m. I just have to say... that I LOVE that in Scalia's dissent he pointed out that the logic and the principle behind the decision would protect same-sex marriages. "What justification,'' the dissenting justice said, ''could there possibly be for denying the benefits of marriage to homosexual couples exercising `the liberty protected by the Constitution'?" I mean. Even the Conservative says there's nothing logical standing in the way now of same-sex marriages. HA! Bring on the property transfer rights and spousal Social Security benefits my friend!!!
