We just found out that our director's house burned down last night. Everyone's fine, but understandably shocked. It's very surreal in the department. Another coworker is going in for surgery related to the possibility of cancer tomorrow. I'm out the next two days for the anniversary. We're down two full-time positions already. We're down so many resources, we're literally limping.
